    [/IMG] When I got these two I was told both are male, the red one looks like female but isn't breeding with the roosters or laying eggs. Could it be a late bloomer rooster?

    I live in Sarasota and was wondering if it's safe to keep my chicks in the garage. I know you need a heat lamp but I just don't want it to be too hot for them.

    Thanks, yeah I know there are Hawks in the area so that's always an issue. Would it be best just to have a stationary coop with a larger area to run around in? As opposed to larger chicken trailers?
