We have a good variety of other kinds of birds though, when the blue jays aren't terrorizing them! I don't see many people talking about mockingbirds, but we have a lot of those and they are so much fun to have around.

Ok sounds good, when they said aracuana we didn't really think that sounded right (especially since we didn't see any aracuana chickens) but we saved him from being eaten and he is happy, even though he still gets checked by the female turkey sometimes :)

The rooster is supposedly a barred rock-aracuana mix 6 months old. So says the people we got him from. He does look like barred rock with some splashes of color mixed in, the sun is starting to go down so he's kind of in the shade
