She did make it :) back in with her flock now. I withheld food for 24 hours, then I gave her wet food with vitamins & electrolytes, applesauce and apple cider vinegar. Did that for 3 days and she perked right up.

    Need some advice...!

I bought some pyrethrin garden insect spray concentrate. My first question is- is this safe to use around my birds? I'd like to put it in and around all my coops. It is pyrethrins-1.00%, piperonyl butoxide,technical-10.000%. My second question is- what is a safe ratio to mix up that will be safe...

Just bought a frizzle hen yesterday, it was very cold and rainy yesterday. I had her in a kennel in the back of my truck with a tarp covering them from the wind as much as I could! Seven dust or DE?!

What do y'all prefer? Pros and cons of each. I use DE but also have seven dust, I had a cochin pullet die last night (had fowl pox) but I was examining her and noticed she had lice.. I treated everyone with DE and the pens. Just wanted to know what everyone else prefers. Thanks!!

    Rooster help!!

That is very good advice! Thank you so much! I am maxed out on hens and I didn't want to have to get straight run chicks and hope for the best you know. I would much rather find one I know is proven good mannered and see how he'll do with my flock.
