    Muscovy Ducklings-Male or Female?

The duck hens will have more of a sharp sounding voice compared to the males. The females are nowhere close to the size of the drakes. The drakes will be larger.

a little advice with crow collars please

Due to neighborhood rules we cannot have a rooster. He spends most of his time inside my house. He only goes outdide if supervised no crow collar because of course he rips it off.

a little advice with crow collars please

So my seven month cockerel has the nees fo rip off his collar everytime we put it on. At first he will do his walking backwards then the chewing and finally rips it off. Independently. His collar came from MPC. I dont know how he's able to get it off when the strap to take it off is in the back.

    Rooster collars

It should. Mine hates his so bad that he takes it off independently! It doesn't hurt them unless it is too tight. Make sure the strap to take it off is in the back. Or he may take it off. One last thing, don't keep it on 24/7

    Identifying Muscovy duck

Looks like a drake. My pied drake looks just like that. I guess the owner got him confused with one of thier other birds.

    Muscovy ducks

Muscovies adapt very well. You may have to clip thier wings because they will fly over fencing and escape from thier yard. One of mine did that. Usually it will take 2-5 days to be able to let them loose.

    Red skin. Losing feathers.

Those are common problems with roosters or cockerels. Sometimes they pick favorites to mate with. I would get a hen saddle which the rooster will stand on fabric and won't ruin thier feathers.
