    I don't have a real hard time keeping my Whites White............But when it comes show time you cant just wipe them off and go they need a full bath head to toe. I will try and get some of them free ranging the yard

    is catfood bad for poultry?

    Cat food is fine for yor birds.......Woldn't feed it to them as a sole ration, but like somone above stated it sure helps them pull through the molt with the extra protien.

    I was there as well, and those bird were very nice.............The birds belonged to Baker and Goodfellow, they always have top notch birds. I picked the the big Black Pullet to win the Breed, and it was well deserved when Paul Kroll gave it Best AOSB. I hope my birds will look like his when...

    If you got that from the TSC you are very lucky. That is a great bird right there. Color is right on.

    Hard to tell at that age. The older they get the better they are. Here are a picture of mine just under a year old.

    They do have ties back to the original Qubec strain. And yes there is a bit of a dark smudge on their backs. It goes away very quickly but just wondering what causes it.

    Here are my only 2 Ameraucanas. I think the Lavender is a Roo. Comb is bright red already. Much redder then the Weaton. What everyone think of them?? Nosey Chatecler sneaking into the picture.

    Yeah needs a little more size. Remember they have Cochin in them so they should be Breasty. This is my guy about the same age as yours accoring to the spurs.
