I don't have a real hard time keeping my Whites White............But when it comes show time you cant just wipe them off and go they need a full bath head to toe. I will try and get some of them free ranging the yard

Once they do start to lay thay are great layers........and true to form, they will lay through the winter up here in Canada

Cat food is fine for yor birds.......Woldn't feed it to them as a sole ration, but like somone above stated it sure helps them pull through the molt with the extra protien.

Hard to tell at that age. The older they get the better they are. Here are a picture of mine just under a year old.

They do have ties back to the original Qubec strain. And yes there is a bit of a dark smudge on their backs. It goes away very quickly but just wondering what causes it.

Here are the 50 a friend of mine hatched out for me. Not sure why some are darker then other. They all turn out bright white. Anyone know??

Here are my only 2 Ameraucanas. I think the Lavender is a Roo. Comb is bright red already. Much redder then the Weaton. What everyone think of them?? Nosey Chatecler sneaking into the picture.

Yeah needs a little more size. Remember they have Cochin in them so they should be Breasty. This is my guy about the same age as yours accoring to the spurs.
