I have a hen that is brooding. I have been taking the eggs daily. She is in a coop with 18 other laying hens. I was considering letting her set but she is going between two different nesting boxes? Any suggestions?

Backyard mix. Rooster is a black copper Maran. Hens are EE blue Marian and cream legbar

They are 9 weeks this past Wednesday... The solid black has the colored sheen to the feathers that are making me think males for them..

Finished out with 20/35. Very happy with the result. Very sad, I had 2 that had completely pipped externally and chirping away and they did not make it...

16/20 yeah!! Two passes after externally pipping. . The rest are super active and all fluffed out

Well, here we go... Day19/20 for my first eggs and 2 early chicks have pipped externally. Time for bed and see what we wake up to!!
