I like my coop with linoleum. It makes clean up a breeze I open the door I sleep out the wood shavings into a bucket I spray and wipe down the linoleum and put new wood shavings in. It takes me all of 10 minutes.
I line my coop with the sheet linoleum, I can open the side, sweep out wood shavings, spray down and wipe off the flooring. Takes a total of 10 minutes to clean
Sorry seems like only part of my comment posted. The rest was... my chickens we're laying up beside the door instead of the nesting box so I didn't realize they had started laying until I cleaned the coop. So at Max the eggs were there for four days. I do not have a rooster so they are not...
I'm new to the whole chicken thing. My first set of chickies just started laying. Now I want to start planning. Which breeds are the best momma's? Hatch well and rear well. Extra points for breeds on the livestock conservancy list. I hoping to have a couple momma's to shove other's eggs under.
So a few things have happened this week... My girls have begun laying, yay! 1 of them is setting for about an hour each morning. I have a buff orpington who is a lot smaller than everyone else, she is definitely low girl one the totem pole but mostly they do alot of my head is higher than yours...
