My worry with this lot is that just after the first week our incubator went off for well over 12 hours. Few days later we checked to see if they were even fertile sure enough out of 10 two were not fertile and one died so the last 7 are
its the day after hatching day for my Aylesbury duck eggs and the only thing I’ve seen happen is one egg moved last night. No pipping or nothing should I be worried?

I am going to use an indoor rabbit hutch with a towel on the floor to prevent slipping and a normal 60/100w light with a light fitting. Anyone else done this?
Ive got a chick that isn't too well at the moment, it didn't fully absorb it's yplk, it's a day old now and still very weak but I've noticed the exact same thing
If I place it on a paper towel do I need to wet it so it doesn't stick? Also do I leave it in the incubator or put it under the lamp, it's not dried out yet?

it had pipped about 30 hours ago but the membrane was drying, I read to drop water on the membrane to keep it wet, tried that but it dried up again. This morning I read to put coconut oil or olive oil as it wouldn't dry but I got up to see this, it looks to me like it has ruptured
