    With the snow and my free range RIR stuck in the coop food went from 10lbs every 3 or 4 days to every 2 days, Two Much? Still laying 5 to six eggs a day. I don't want to over feed. Any advice? Thanks

    My RIR are 20 weeks with no eggs. One fellow had mentioned his grandma would bake to table spoons of cayenne pepper in to her corn bread when they were not laying, Well if you run into this guy tell him thanks from no eggs two days ago 5 this morning. 6 Hens

    Long island red chick 5 weeks old losing most of feathers

    Thanks for the reply. I was worried because the other 5 almost have all there feathers. All without looking like this poor gal.

    Have 6 Rode Island red chicks in five-week all have most of the feathers but one looks to be molting. Just as active as the rest but not sure to keep this one with the rest. Is she sick or what? Any help would be welcome. Thank you all so much?
