The problem is I have a small incubator with a rolling turner so I have them in egg carton cups and I am turning them by hand. Should I keep them in the egg carton cups for the rest of incubation? How often should I turn them?

I can’t really tell from the picture, because it is so early, could you post another picture in a few days? I wouldn’t give up hope yet.

Typically with bantams I lock down on 16 because they are smaller, so I think for seramas day 15 would work well. I’ve heard seramas are a lot harder to hatch than regular sized chickens, so good luck👍🏻

Both of the eggs are fertile, I usually wait until the eggs are up to full size before I incubate to make sure the chicks have enough growing room.

You can float test them, just check thoroughly for pips, and place the eggs one by one into a large bowl of warm water, the bottom of the egg will float to the top and if the chick is alive inside it should start to wiggle.

If you add it in with the other ones it should be fine, since it is a little bit younger they might pick on it a little bit, but I wouldn’t be worried.

I have never had any Ancona chicks, but from my experience with other breeds my guess would be rooster. It is still a little early though so I could be wrong.

They look pretty okay to me, if you are worried you could feed them some boiled eggs to help with their nutrients.

So if it is a split white, what would happen if I bred it with an India blue? Im not very happy, I made sure I got purebred India blues so I hatch and sell my own purebred peachicks. Ugh
