They have 3 heating pads that they go under of, I started off with only 2 pads so they were about 40-50 chicks under each one in day one
I put in a third heating pad last night and 7 more ended up being crushed this afternoon.
I need help dealing with my turkey chicks keep bunching up and the ones on the bottom fall asleep and get squished on to death. I have 100 , 20 have died,. They have 3 rent a coop brooders that are meant for 50 chicken chicks. I have tried evenly put them under each brooder at night.

Yeah it's the only regular diet I give all my birds but they're so small they will literally only eat a kernel of corn every now and then, they prefer the little black seeds and alfalfa pellets it comes in feed bag.
Yeah for sure I meant I feed them once but I give them about a cup and it lasts them literally a day or two, where as my big game birds inhale their feed.
Hello recently got gifted this group of chickens I know they are seramams/bratham but what breed are they? will they be able to produce chicks?

Hello I was gifted this little chicken but I do not know what breed it is or even if it's actually a chicken. It is by far the smallest chicken I have seen and I think its fully grown.
I have a medium flock of chickens and couple of ducks can I feed them JUST game rooster scratch? I'm not familiar with hen laying feed I need something more streamline to buy in bulk. Will this type of scratch be ok for mixed flock ?

Sadly our rooster died today afternoon in my arms. I buried him out of respect down on the edge of the woods. He was a wonderful rooster really friendly I had the chance to incubate some of the eggs from some of his ladies. So in a way he lives on through his offspring.
