Sorry for not including more info! Only feathers are left, no body or anything. I’m located in Western, PA. Usually coyotes and foxes stay away from the house/barn because of the dogs… but this one seems to be more brazen. I’ll try to trap it, but any other advice is appreciated.

Good luck! I would syringe feed my rescues when they were really bad off (very carefully). I'd make a kind of slurry with the different good ingredients -- often they were also very dehydrated from being too weak to eat on their own.

I rescued a couple of older ducks (maybe around 4 months old or so?) and I gave them a Vitamin B supplement (like the cattle vitamins), salmon, peas, and brewer's yeast. It took a couple of weeks, but their beaks started to gain their color back. I also made sure I was feeding them a good water...

Turns out they were Pekins! Both have healthy orange beaks now... they were just massively undernourished.

Thank you! That was exactly what I did. We have B vitamins, manganese, and electrolytes that we add to the water. And they get premium duck feed to help them recover nice and quick. Their beaks are back to being orange, but sadly one of the females (who had the worst niacin deficiency-related...

Thanks for the welcome! That's pretty much what I thought. We're new to the duck world and we do a lot of research, but I wanted to see if anyone had any secrets :) They'll keep getting the premium diet, supplements, and b vitamins and we'll see how they heal!
