My son was playing with balloons and now they are all over. Will chickens eat them? Can they be harmed if they do?

I sprouted some apple seeds and went outside to put them in pots. One of my hens follows me everywhere, i accedently dropped them and she stole one faster than i could block her to pick them all up. I read they are very poisness for chickens. What do i do? She is my favorite sweetest cuddliest bird.

Thanks this is good info. Could be stress. We gave away our rooster reciently. the hen that laied this egg is his favorite. I think she is having trouble adjusting without him. I will add some vitamins in the water too just encase.

that's interesting she is close in age. I wonder if eating problems arise because that's when they seem to grow very fast? They are extra hungry and are bigger so more room for food? I hope yours pulls through also
