    I just assisted a hatching chick. First I hit the vein and I saw blood. I waited several hours and I continued successfully (I think). But I don't understand how you can hit a vain when veins are inside the body?

    Are you sure about the rooster? The rooster should be the same breed as the pullet! He doesn't have the fellers at the tail but they will grow! Also they are "mini" breed doesn't grow big. The pullet is about six months old, I don't know about the rooster.

    I removed three eggs (first three pictures). I left others. I can't capture much clearer photos. They look a bit different in photos that they really are. There were 14 eggs, now there are 11 left. I put to many eggs I think.
