Tetra Tint 3rd generation. The second generation were all white or white with the few black spots with gold on the neck that got darker as they get older. I breed these hens back to a buff orp roo and the results I got were unusual. I have no idea where these colors came from or even what you...
Hi Been awhile since I posted here. I bred my tt to a bo. The chicks were hatched today. Will get pics as soon as the rest of the chicks hatch. They are still in the bator.
OMG thats horrible. I don't know what kind of chicken they sold you, it doesn't sound like a tetra. Could you post some pics. One of my pullets went broody at 20 wks and hatched out 4 of 4 and was an excellent mother. Sorry for your loss.

Not to rain on your parade...but by the tail end of things...those are looking like roos! Sorry!
X2 I wanted to say the same thing cause my roos all had the red or gold bleeding on the wing feathers none of the hens had that. Hens had the black spots some with gold edges on the neck...
I too am intersted in these chicks. I tryed to get some but the local TSC didn't get any. From what I understand they were bred for high egg production with less feed nessessary for productivity making them more cost efficient. They are a hybred and I'm not sure they will breed true. I'm...
