I have two and my mother in law had a third that all lay light blue eggs. But I do have one girl that lays a blueish green egg. Definitely not anywhere near a "true blue". You got lucky you got all blue layers. Saying that they are some of my best chickens. Their feed to egg ratio is very good...

Well like I said I'm definitely not getting all blue. 3/4 i got are laying blue and one is definite blue green. We will see as time passes if the colors change any.

Read through the thread some. Pretty sure someone had some lay brown and one of mine lays a teal egg

Mine are pretty flighty too and intelligent. I really enjoy them. I'm glad I am not concerned about egg color for my flock because Roxy my first layer is one of my favorite birds and Vega the one that lays the teal egg is IMO the pretties bird in my small flock.

Anyone else getting green tinted eggs from their WTB? My girl Vega started with a blue egg with a slight hint of green. And today this was her egg in the center (other two WTB are the top two eggs). They have gotten progressively more green as she lays. Very pretty egg but not blue. Curious how...

So sorta weird my final WTB is laying now and her eggs are almost white because the film they put on the egg to protect it is like 4x the thickness on her eggs Than a normal hen.

Yes they are very pale blue. I actually have one that was at first pale blue and is now having a small green hint

Vega started laying today!! 1 more WTB to go. Her egg is the middle blue egg. It's about the same shade as Roxy's first egg which is now the even light blue egg at the side. I'm very happy with my egg basket this morning!!

Hope so I've seen a slight increase for sure but nothing crazy. They still don't fill the carton.

How long until they got to a normal size?

Mine are at 22 weeks and still waiting on 2 out of 4 so hold in there

Mine was the same I had the one start at almost 18 weeks. The others are just taking longer

Looks just like mine. I still have two to go. They seem so close but still I wait.

I was unaware it helps in that way. May have to go pick some up.

So here is an example of the dif between exterior and interior color. There is little to no difference. The color is a little washed out but they are a very light blue.
