    I raise gamefowl and have yet to have a bird not run for cover when a hawk flies by. That said more likely than not the broody hens would go after a hawk if they caught it taking chicks. Just so you know.

    Meat bird feed, or if you wanted to mix your own, then rice, dog food and scratch work well to gether.

    If he wants Gamefowl then don't use Malays or OEG. Being classed as Gamefowl doesn't mean anything. And Malays will cause him to lose all the broody and survival traits he is breeding for. He will also lose the bankavoid type he is breeding for.
