I posted pictures above for you to reference. I wanted to mention that my BO are all 20 weeks old and one has a full red comb and some still have a peachy/pink comb. They mature differently across the same breed, just like people I guess...
Mine are very skittish and others have reported the same thing. Don't know if that is an unfortunate trait of the breeding lines that many of them come from.

I am not going to show them, but wanted to make sure that the tail was due to something normal! lol. I figured that the BO and the LO were just different varieties. The BOs look much more english and the LO look more APA, from my google search.

I just got 2 lavender orpingtons and I have a question about their tails. Their tails stick straight up ... is that normal. They are long, but almost fanned out. I will attach a picture from my phone is another post.
