Freeze-dried grasshoppers today; they went crazy!

We finished our chicken tractor so they got fresh grass and possibly some bugs.

Mine got the crumbs are the bottom of the Shredded Wheat box. So far, I think their favorite treat is bell pepper, especially the seeds.

My chicks adore leaves from my Rose of Sharon bush. I break off some twigs and hold them while the birds leap to rip off bites.

I froze scoops of canned pumpkin in a mini-muffin tin, with a sprig of rosemary on top for enticement.

Cooked sweet potato skins, cucumber peel and peach skin. They didn't like the cucumber. :(
