There is nothing wrong with the pullet... she's just trying not to freeze her butt off in the wind. We had windchills in the 20's when I took this pic. Needless to say, after eating their oatmeal, rice and blueberries, she was back in the coop next to the window soaking up the sun on the roost. LOL

Trying to get nice pictures of these two movers is worse than trying to get an 8 yr old to wash his face... Actually, it might be easier if I think about it over much... Red Devil and my white pullet. I still need a name for her, but nothing has just.. popped out at me. Sorry, I for being...

    ATTN: Yokohama Lovers!

I am getting nervous at that thought here. I am mostly nervous because I have been asked a few time in the last few weeks if my boys were fighting birds. I told them no, they are not those types of birds, they are ornamental birds, will get up to 6 foot or longer tails, not for fighting. I think...

I got Red Devil from eggs that I got from Decoyman over in VA. He is the only one out of 5 RSY, and she the only white out of 5 too that hatched... The others were fertile, but quite shortly in, or quit close to lockdown, and even had some pip, zip, and die... So difficult. I hope that next...

That I do not know... I could weigh myself, the hold him and weigh us, and get his weight, but if I had to guess, I would say he's about 2 pounds right now. The pullet is about a pound. She is so delicate too.

He really is small! BUT, I feed Blue Seal finisher. Prior to that it was Sunfresh finisher. I switched to the more natural feed, and my birds really took to it, and will turn their beaks up at other feed now. LOL. The pullet, she's tiny too. Give me a minute and I'll get a pic of them on the...
