Luna curled her tail around her paws, letting the moonight rain down on her black pelt. She stretched, pushing her way out of the moss and lichen that decorated the entrance to her den.

Luna sighed, laying her head on her paws. She felt lonely; she missed Nichis, but he was hardly around anymore.

Luna lay down, the sun making her black pelt shine like stars.

*checks thread's heartbeat* It's alive. Twitching, but alive. Luna stretched, cursing as she reopened a small wound from a hunt with a caribou.

Luna chuckled.

"Alright," Luna said. "How are you?"

Luna jumped, startled, then smiled. "Hi, Nichis," she said, turning to look at him.

Luna nodded a greeting to Hollyleaf, then went out to hunt. She hunted around for several hours, before a fat rat scurried in front of her and she scooped it up in her jaws, eating it in a single bite. It tasted like dirt and carrion but she was too hungry to care. Once she finished she climbed...
