I am planning to get some brahmas, and cornish within the next few days, from Alaska Feed. So, if you don't mind me asking, are you south of Fairrbanks, on the Parks? I could get them from FB, and you drive up from (Healy?)?
I guess you have heard of Don's Layer Feed. Alaska Feed carries it, from what I saw of it, crumbles was very powdery, and expensive. . . Now if you could buy directly from them, that might help out on the cost.
What do you mean by up north? Towards the Arctic Circle or Delta? I would like to...
I know people who had used haybales, I have 2 inch foam board for walls, and fiberglass insulation for the roof. We used expandable foam to seal cracks and whatnot. I think the most important thing is to have a good tight door.
I don't know, judging from the amount of people on BYC assosiated with Alaska, probably not. It would be interesting though. Did you see the show poultry at the state fair last year? I was impressed- most likely because its the only one I have seen.
