EE was hatched out this morning and another well pipped. Three more in the possible line up. UNBELIEVEABLE! Super late but still trying.

Chick #2, the one that hatched late this afternoon, is sporting a stylish pair of curled toes paddles :D I swear, if you had asked me 20 years ago if I'd be up at 11pm putting shoes on a chicken.....

I moved some this morning, day 23, to the "questionable egg" side of my incubator when I pulled out a dry chick and added water. This afternoon, 5 of those eggs, showed some further development.

Two more of the 'duds' are peeping. And another 3 'duds' air into the air cell. Late bloomers!

My last two that popped are working on it. Trying hard to keep that humidity up for them. Have given up all hope for the other 11.

11 eggs in bator. 4 were rockin and rolling and peeping 3 were pipped at (old time) 330 with one of those almost all the way zipped. Watched that one hatch. Loudest/longest peeper has gone silent with no pip. Other 7 are no change.

Still no pips at 5am. Heard pipping and chirping from one egg, not one of the rockers though. No one stinks. Air cells r perfect. No idea.

Still waiti g. Have some rocking, no pips. Lower temps have slowed things. Day 22 hatch is common at my house, but it still drives me bonkers!

14 of the original 36 are in lock down. 24 were fine until the incubator went nuts last week. All eggscopies showed death at that stage too. Giant grrrr. The remaining 14 are full happy eggs. Crossing fingers.

Just candled my 37. 13 clears. 12 of those were my marans. 3 maran eggs left. 24 left look wonderful, marans crosses Looks lime my roo prefers the exotic breeds in my coop over his own kind. Must have a talk with that boy. Either that or my maran girls are too smart and fast for him!

Only day 5 here, but I grabbed 3 eggs to check air cells. All three look great. One is a developing double yolker! I'll let it go as far as nature decides it can.
