I don't try to keep it separate. I try to run it 50 to 55% the whole incubation period including g hatching. This has given me tge best results.
I need to mention . The last hatch came out to be about 68% because I had a lot if non fertile eggs.

You call that chicken math? I add anywhere from 17 to 76 at a time. Ha ha just kidding. I truly do add quite few few at once you see I have an incubator and I know how to work it.
