It seems there was a 25 mile wide band of snow hitting souther Illinois last night. We are in the middle of course. It looks like way more then 6". Maybe the snow plows might remember our road this time. Power is on.... Coffee is good. Not sure how bad Cape MO and Paducah KY were hit.

Just got in from doing the first round of ice breaking and hot water hauling and hay for the big critters. All the feathered critters are next then grain time. Up to a whole 10 degrees here. Really worried about the neighbors horses and cattle. They only have the creek for water and it is frozen...

It has dropped way down in temps here again. I am hoping to get enough energy to go riding to look for our neighbors missing dog. Her 6 yr old is devastated that the dog did not come home with the other dog yesterday after their run.
