The Seramas were beautiful, especially all the frizzle roosters. I couldn't afford the pair I wanted so I just came home with 10 eggs. I love hatching them out anyway.

5/6 is great for Seramas. I've never been a Silkie fan but then again I've never owned any so they might be cool once you get to know them. LOL...I'm heading to the swap in Corvallis this weekend to pick up a Serama or two...eggs maybe?

Well, my last little Serama egg failed to hatch. I knew something was wrong when I didn't hear any peeping after he pipped. I think he pipped at the small end of the egg and missed the aircell maybe?

Well aweful news after candling.... I am down to 3 Serama eggs. All the rest were scrambled and no developement. I added some coturnix quail eggs to the incubator so it wont be so empty in there, and if I can get one Serama to hatch he will have a brooder buddy. Also today, one of my turkey...

I trying my second batch of Seramas, first try I got 2/12 to hatch, I think they are both pullets. Very cute, but i need more! I need to hatch at least a pair! So here I go again. Shipping is so rough on those little eggs! Tomorrow is day 7 for me.
