    YEAH!!!!! Got an email from Holderreads, they have moved my date up to April 25, with May 2 and 9 as alternate....I am soooo excited!! I am getting 6 gold and 6 silver all show quality... Man.. I am sooooo excited... And went to Home Depot and got all the stuff for a coop yesterday.... Way...

    DWD I dont know if they carry gold gene or not....didnt know enough to ask when ordered. They are his show quality though....so we will see. I will need some people to volunteer to hatch out my first couple of hatches to test fertility, as I don't have incubators anymore.. so I guess I will...

    ok.. that makes sense.. and if you mate gold with gold.. you will get all gold? And if you mate silver with silver, you will get all silver?? If not, then maybe I shouldn't have ordered 6 of each, maybe just 6 total if you can get both from each color.. hmmmm....

    Speaking of Gold and Silver... I keep reading on here... gold phase... isn't the gold WH a seperate color in the species? Maybe I am just totally misunderstanding.. but there is a difference between the gold and silver right?

    YEAH!!!!! I placed my order with Holderreads... I ordered show quality 6 gold and 6 silver... I also ordered 4 runners for the kids, but the Harlequins are MINE!!!!! I CANT WAIT!!! They said definitly by mid May and quite possibly sooner... I am so excited I can't even stand it ... Praying...

    Sorry for the confusion..at the top oftheir page it says Country Poultry...so I thought that was their name.. Purely poultry also looks like they have them....but I guess it is looking like the only place to really get quality WH is from holderreads...

    Ok.. I am resurrecting this thread... because I have totally fallen in love with these ducks. I can't seem to find a breeder in CA.. does anyone know one? If I have to use a hatchery..I know Holderreads is the best, but I really hesitate with the NO sexing thing.. I really don't want a bunch...
