So how many boys/girls did you wind up with for the WH? Just trying to tell from your pic, but I only see seven not eight and it looks like only 3 girls? Did you wind up with 4 girls and boys? And do people do with all the extra drakes??

Speaking of Gold and Silver... I keep reading on here... gold phase... isn't the gold WH a seperate color in the species? Maybe I am just totally misunderstanding.. but there is a difference between the gold and silver right?

YEAH!!!!! I placed my order with Holderreads... I ordered show quality 6 gold and 6 silver... I also ordered 4 runners for the kids, but the Harlequins are MINE!!!!! I CANT WAIT!!! They said definitly by mid May and quite possibly sooner... I am so excited I can't even stand it ... Praying...

Well just called Duane Urch and he doesn't have any.. only muscovies... he gave me the name of someone and he doesn't have any eaither... so back to square one... OK... so if I go with holderreads... and I wind up with a ton of males.... what are the options besides butchering them myself or...

Sorry for the confusion..at the top oftheir page it says Country Poultry...so I thought that was their name.. Purely poultry also looks like they have them....but I guess it is looking like the only place to really get quality WH is from holderreads...

I guess Country Poultry also has sexed harlequins.. does anyone know anything about them?

Ok.. I am resurrecting this thread... because I have totally fallen in love with these ducks. I can't seem to find a breeder in CA.. does anyone know one? If I have to use a hatchery..I know Holderreads is the best, but I really hesitate with the NO sexing thing.. I really don't want a bunch...
