Yes, I only allow my girls out when someone can be with them. I know she hasn't laid since they are kept in the coop & run until 5pm.

I'm a newbie but I must say our light brahma "Suzy Blue" is awesome! The LB is perfect for getting rid of the bugs in my yard. My LB is huge, people and animal friendly but stubborn... We have yet to get an egg from her.

My LB @15 weeks, she is by far my favorite. I love that my girls come up to the patio door wanting treats.

Nope no magic here:) they seem to care nore about eating. Today they've been out for 4 hours so far. I did see our BR on the small picnic table earlier. Theses are out first and I'm SO in love.

Oh heavens no! They are usually in their run during the days, unless I'm outside with them. When they're out they are only interested in eating:)

Aww:) that's what my Light Brahma looked like, I questioned how it was possible to go lighter as it aged(ya I'm sure you can tell I'm a newbie..lol) now at 14 weeks she's my favorite.

She's always goofy:) I must say I love LB's and so far everyone in my household adore her as well. I hope one day to have several more.

Oh gosh I hope it's not a boy :( I'd be devastated. I can't have a roo. I did get it from a hatchery that guarantees up to 90% Accuracy the sex of the chicks. Ya I'm in NC so it's not to terribly cold maybe low 40's a night right now.

I am wanting to put them out in the coop but she has me worried. They are all much to large for the brooder box now and do spend the days outside.

Are light brahmas slow to feather? My little girl (6 weeks old) still has a good amount of fuzz while all my other chicks (same age) have all feathered out.
