I think something may be going around in Mid-Atlantic. Had a team member call out yesterday. Said he caught it from a nephew and it is going around in his household as well. Hope you are feeling better soon.
We have the same incubator and we have had similar issues. The largest hatch numbers were eggs we picked up locally and we got 8 out of 12. All other times we either hatch one or two and others we got nothing. We are now using as Genesis Hovabator with 1588 for hatching and out of the two...
DH had a lone Blue Wheaton Ameraucana hatche after the ice storm in SC. We were surprised that any hatched after electricity was lost during incubation. The chick he named Stormy was given stuffed Care Bear and a wash cloth to cuddle up to. He brought it out to the brooder coop after several...

I felt this way last year after three failed hatches. But after reading alot of advice from this site I have learned several things.
1. Ask the shipper how they package and don't be afraid to give them direction if the packaging is less then desirable.
2. A good seller will tell you how old...
DH locked down last night because he had put more eggs in the incubator on the 30 along with the ones set on the 29. He was hearing chirps when locking them down. Came into work to find one Marraduna Basque hatched overnight. He is still hearing chirps when he left this evening so hopefully...
