The only Sebastopol baby I kept this year. Hope it's a girl. Can't wait to see it fully feathered in. The first 2 pictures are at 11 weeks old, the last 2 were taken today.
I personally use 1 part whole oats, 1 part Black Oil Sunflower seed to 2 parts all flock by volume not weight..... grass hay is a nice addition if you can't let them out
or pen her separately at night so you can have her eggs for eating. She will still make a great Nanny goose, lol You just don't want her eggs to hatch if a breeding program is what you want.
very pretty babies RURU
I think 3rd and 4th winter took Spring away... I had snow on the 3rd we have been really hot also. Hope it all evens out I'd hate to see another summer like the last one

Sorry it's taking so long. Been busy around here! Yes he use to be a custom cabinet maker so I get little things like this I'll send him the link and have him answer questions. He sets/test it for me at the beginning of season and I keep it full and clean
Everyone has adorable babies
Goose here is my bator that Hubby built with parts from Incubator Warehouse. The top is the incubator and the bottom is a separate hatcher. We currently have a 100% hatch rate on the Embdens that make it to day 14. Our first Sebbies are due next week .
Doc and Bashful are pleased to announce the first fertile Sebbie egg of the season here at "The Puddle Place"
