When do you find that chickens really start to enjoy treats? Ive fed mine various things since they were ~1 weeks old. They haven't really been excited over anything. *sigh* they peck at almost everything but they just play with it.

I was a bad chook mommy. Didn't get anything but chick grower. The dogs got whole wheat noodles with their kibble though.

Does anyone ever give citrus? I've got some lemons turning....but I read it on the do not feed list. Exceptions?

Do you give wild bird suet?

Gave the chicks some bokchoy, bell peppers, apples, and a half of a scrambled eggs.

Day two for greens with my 1 week old chicks. They actually went pecking at them! Yay!

I felt really bad! Lol it was like quick sand!

I tried to give mine warm oatmeal again and one fell in it :-/ so I took it away. To young still :(

I gave my tinies (they are 4 days old, lol) a tiny bit of uncooked oatmeal for them to play in. And oh man, I am the wonderful foods givers person human.
