Thanks everyone! My Dad and husband are excellent builders, and they are building the nesting wing today smile.png I decided to add a nesting box extension to the back- we have the space for it, and it will add some more room for air to circulate. I am sick of crawling through to the back of their coop to collect eggs, so I am hoping I can train them to use their new nests.

Here is the progress right now, it is a lot bigger than I was thinking, but it should be nice!

 Western N.C ~ 17 chickens= EE's, Game, variety of bantams,1Light Brahma, 2 Black Australorps . 5 Muscovy ducks, 8 Indian Runners and 2 Buff Orpington Ducks, 1 Embden gander,1 Toulouse goose , 3 mini Dachshunds, 2 mixed breed, pond goldfish,  and a wonderful Husband who makes it all possible..
