Have you built a sweet pad for your seramas indoors or out? Let's see it!

If you're in a colder area, how are you heating your outdoor coop? Do you provide a dust bath in your indoor birds' housing? What are you using for nest boxes and perches? Is your coop super easy to clean? Beautiful designs, creative solutions, and just plain what works, I want to see it all!

I'll post a pic of my brooder to start! I have big plans for the indoor coop. ;)

So we picked up two little seramas a few weeks ago and decided to make them a fully insulated coop. There is 2 inch thick poly styrofoam on the floor and sides that is sandwiched between plywood.
There is a ceramic heater inside that is hooked up to a timer to go on at night time for them.
They have a little porch that they like to preen on and the entrance to the coop has a small corridor that is set at an angle to keep wind out but still allow ventilation.
I also made them a little ramp with steps and the steps are based off their walking stride.
They love their little home!

Aww, I love the idea of angling the entrance to keep out wind! Great looking coop! What did you use for the steps, are those bamboo canes?

Yep! Nice and thin for their wee little feet. We have a row of bamboo growing in our garden, which the chickens love to walk through and scratch about.
