Ok wait lol do I need to change the temp right now?! Sorry I'm confused...its 99.8 right now

Also, how long do you leave chicks in the bator after they hatch? I know some say until dry but others do differently??

You should be fine with your temps. But you should wait till they are dry because they get chilled easily. And if you have unhatched eggs with pips let the chicks alone. They can live for about 3 days without food or water. So wait and give the others time.

only in lockdown !

Yeah i understood but why are the cooler temps ideal for lockdown?

it's a little giant incubator from tractor supply. It's a still air incubator, but I added the egg Turner the 2nd time, but it didn't seem to help any.

If I remember correctly, you were saying you couldn't get the temperature to stabilize. To do that, you need to have a incubator as full as possible. Add some containers of water with lids on them. They are not to raise humidity ( which is why you're adding a lid) they are to keep the temperature from fluxuating. The water will hold heat.

To be shoure, you are in lockdown? Yes?
The problem in lockdown, and frankly in the last 5 dayes is over heating du to hige metabolisem in the embrio, this problem become worse du to the extra heat generated in hatching, so in my opinion you should reduce it to 37-37.2C

Yes I'm in lockdown...2 have hatched with many others externally pipped and zipping!

I just lowered to 98.8 and humidity is 67%

The yolk can be suficiant up to 72 ouers, I personaly don't leave them more than 10-15.
As soon as possibel that they get excess to food and wather it is the best for them!
