I have a FIL like you. He built himself a underground house, it is lovely and warm. Then he Flys down to Nicaragua in the winter to enjoy the sun.

Me and the cold...we don't get along.

I'm just a bit north of you, and didn't inherit the cold tolerant genetics of my Finnish and Swedish ancestors. Nor did I inherit the heat tolerant genes of my parents. So I am stuck in a temperate climate, and wood stoves, long johns, and indoors are my friend November to April. I even work at home so I don't have to be in the cold. Looking out at single digits is bad enough.

I really wonder how they can have a reputation for being stupid. They learn so fast, and are so curious (and snuggly).
