Prayers sent to France.

Reminds me of our Holy Gospel reading from this past Sunday: "You will be hated by all for My name's sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved." -Matthew 10:22
It's sad, but persecution may be just a part of the journey Home for some of us. Loved your words.

Prayers for those in France, for the yezidi and middle eastern Christians being daily persecuted and killed, and for wisdom and willingness for all of us and our leaders to see the realities and implications of this evil we are being confronted with more and more.

You also have to acknowledge that the majority of people being killed in Syria are Muslims, let us remember them as well.

Yes there are Muslims, but there is a targeted genocide going on where hundreds of thousands of Christians and many Yazidi's have been killed in the last couple of years. Their homes and businesses are targeted and then they are killed, sent into slavery. Males are murdered even eight year old boys crucified, women and children even the very young are taken and repeatedly raped and kept for that or sold. See iamnazarene

As are many Muslims and many people of other faiths, we should strive to remember and mourn people equally and not only grieve for the ones that seem similar to ourselves.

Many atrocities are being committed in Syria and elsewhere regardless of faith, they are all victims in this tragedy.

Yes, there are Muslims who are in the way or not Muslim enough for ISIS and other Muslim extremists, but they are not as specifically labeled as enemies like Kurds Yezidi, Jews, Christians and western non Muslims are.

Their desire is to see the infidel convert or die. There is no middle or common ground with those that seek that. I am now done hijacking this thread. I pray they come to know the truth and value human life.
