Northwest Georgia Swap day at TSC

If anyone is interested in Blue English Orpingtons I am going to post my splash rooster for $25 if he goes before the weekend. Was asking $50 because I know he is pure English but since I don't have a hen I am willing to let him go for $25 if he goes soon.

He is huge! I have wondered why the breeder has lavender, blue and blacks together? Maybe size? He is very docile and will eat out of your hand. He is knee high at 4 months and I cannot imagine how big he will be once grown.

The previous pics are a week old. Here are some from today after they all have played in the mud. Tubby (the blue splash) seems to be having the most fun. He also seems to pose for pictures. He and the buff seem to be the same size, GIANT! The white in the bottom of the pic is my bandage where I cut my finger on some tin yesterday.

So last weekend I went to a "trade day" at a local Tractor Supply Co.
When I called, they said it was for local small businesses and homesteaders/farmers to come and set up to sell or trade.

I loaded up a few spare roosters, some fantail pigeons, and an old hen who was being picked on by everyone.

Sold the hen and some fantails, and started thinking..."Wonder if the TSC closest to me does this?"
So I called them :)

They said they wanted to do one, but didn't know if there was any interest.
They were specifically looking at doing something in January some time, although they would be glad to work with me or anyone else on a date. Even offered to let just me set up if I wanted, but I think that a larger crowd would be better.

For those in the area close enough, would you be interested in participating in a swap/sale in Cartersville? It is just a couple miles off of I75.

What time of year would you think this would work best? Spring? When will you have chicks to sell/trade?
I would love to have more info to offer TSC as far as negotiating a time that might work for more people.
Don't forget to post this info on the GA site I bet lots would come since we go to McDoughna, when they have it
