Our rabbits stayed in their regular, large hutches after surgery, it's actually better for them if they can move around as usual. We didn't let them out to zoom around the house but we didn't restrict then to a tiny space either. They were sutured, one was fine, the other had her incision open up just a tiny bit at one end. They applied the glue which she promptly removed so they put a stretchy belly band on her for about a week until the small opening granulated and closed on it's own. Watch your bun carefully and make sure she's eating ok with the cone, some do ok but some rabbits get really distressed by those cones. Our vet doesn't use them on rabbits if at all possible.
