wobbly chick

Had a pullet that did the same...unfortunately my turkey tom beat her up and she died from internal injuries before could diagnose. She started young, when she and siblings were weaned from mom, I would occasionally find pullet, affectionately named Vodka, on her back and unable to get up. Later I noticed her feet getting almost arthritic looking. She died at about 2 or 3 months. Now I have a 4 day old chick doing the same thing. All my broody mom's with babies come in my house for the first couple of months as we have minks and such. I came home yesterday from errands to find new baby named Poof laying on kitchen floor ice cold. Thought she/he were dead, but soon it started weakly squeaking so I rushed it under a hair dryer and gave it water and it came around. It will fall on its back and start crying. Mama doesn't know what to do as this is her first brood. Ironically grandma has a brood of her own to so after hair drying Poof I stuck him under Grandma Starfire to warm up. Today I have mom and Poof and siblings in a small enclosure in my living room on carpet so hopefully he will be alive when I get home today.I sure hate losing little ones, any bird really but more so the tinys.will post a picture of vodKa below and baby Poof
