@taffynoona did you see the replies on the other thread?

Rinse the eye with mild saline solution a few times a day.

Get to a vet if possible.

Give her time in a 75 to 80F bath, no soap, just let her splash and hope she cleans out her nares.

I suspect she has the beginnings of an infection.

Put a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar per quart of drinking water (not in a galvanized metal container, it may leach).

Please send an update.

now i am worried about her little companion. Tell me will she survive alone now? An alone duckling? because i cant buy her a new friend

Ducklings can survive as singles, and it takes some extra time and attention from you. Ideally, they need a companion 24/7. That would be you. Even so, some number of duck keepers end up with one duckling, and they do fine. Part of it depends on the duckling's own personality. Most of it is the determination of the human.

An unbreakable mirror and washable stuffed toy can help. I think photo's of ducks - life size - might help.

And the duckling needs as much of your time and attention as possible.

I don't know where you are, but you may want to find a loving home that already has well cared-for ducks and adopt her out. It is up to you which way you go. My feeling is that ducklings need our care. I do not think you would consider this, but letting her loose is not an option. She needs to be in a home with someone who cares about her and cares for her.
