Royal Palm Tom x Narragansett Hen poults

Thread Starter

Today our broody Narragansett hen hatched 13 gorgeous little nuggets. She naturally bred with my Royal Palm Tom. I was wondering if anyone has done this cross before and if so do you have pics of adults from the cross. Would love to get an idea of what these poults will look like. Obviously I am impatient HAHA. I will post a few pics.

If both birds are pure and there are no hidden recessive genes, according to Porter's turkey color calculator the poults produced will be Narragansett Semi-Color Semi-Gray.  Here is the link to a mature tom of that variety.  I did not see any pics of what a hen will look like.

Welsummers, mixed breed chickens, Blue Slate turkeys, Sweetgrass turkeys and guineas.

In wonderful Wyoming.
