Morning Pond Peeps! :frow
I fell asleep just as the rain was starting and managed to sleep through whatever storm we had.:D
It's cool and cloudy this morning and more mud!:th
I'm being lazy too!:love
How many kids do you have? All boys?

Would kids' plastic wading pools work?
they would.... and probably what I would go for at first.... I have a pond liner in my storage shed somewhere... If it hasnt rotted its square. The way I built the pond for the turtles was set up mortarless brick walls in a square.. fold the liner like an inverted package...and fill. two feet deep if I filled it up.. but Dang it stank... and I coulnt drain it...

Hmmm I have an idea.... got to draw it up...

Sorry about your Uncle! I bet he will be glad to see you.

I’m with you on the laundry. It’s really piling up.:th
Yes deep litter method doesn't work that well for laundry. I really need my sheets washed, too much cat hair. I guess i will have to find the laundry basket and get after that chore.

You always come up with the coolest ideas! :pop

Good morning pond dweller's :frow
If your worried about what it's treated with use 6 mil.poly to cover the bottom and inside .Set so the poly turns leaching to the outside of the planter .

might try a lighted trap to catch the frog . Bugs go too light frog goes to bugs.

Have a safe trip . How deep can the pile get ?:lau And I have chicken tending busy day for me again :th:lau:frow:frow
Did y'all weather the storm ok? Nothing major?:fl:pop
And how's the back?:fl
Wow I bet get togethers are a good time! And congratulations! I bet you will be blessed with many more before all is said and done!
3 still live at home and oldest daughter and her 2 are here more often than not. I keep the kids while she works. So it's busy here except for weekends.
And dd2 and her little one and dh live in Pensacola FL so I only get pics and videos but it's better than nothing.:D
Seems it's always a get together here just for everyday stuff :lau

I'm surprised they are scared of a frog!
Ok well. . not really knowing how mine act about anything out of the ordinary.
Hum. .not sure how you could get it outta there besides draining the boat again.

I have a wet/dry shop-vac that I think I'll try, as soon as the mud I'd have to drag it thru dries up a little.

Thanks for that reminder! The blanket at the bottom of my bed needs washed....

My Pomapoo had a seizure yesterday morning. As I was holding him thru the seizure, I could smell....well, I'll spare the nasty details, let's just say his curly fuzzy fur around his butt needs trimmed regularly. It hasn't been done in a few months. :sick
Absolute worst job on the planet!! :sick :sick
So I'm guessing the blanket he sleeps on needs a good sterilizing.

It's about time for poor little guy Roscoe's hair cut too. He's the most patient dog ever, just lays there while I trim him. Ended up bathing him to get all the poop off him, usually bathe after haircut. Think I'll go do that now.
