On this day, I thought I'd show off my mother's handiwork quilting. She created this beautiful hanging, and always displayed it in September. When she passed away a few years ago, she left the quilt to my sister who lived in NYC, she now displays it proudly on her front door.

Crap, sorry another ETA: any antibiotic ointment or cream is fine as long as it doesn't have pain reliever in it... I think you can crush a baby aspirin for her if it seems she is in too much pain...

I think she had it in the duck thread.
I'm waiting to get into the doctors..... They fit me in at 11...
After that I'm straight to the Tractor supply for some medical stuff.
I should have had more stuff on hand..... But I've had ducks for almost two years without incident. So I got complacent.
The last thing I had was three dead ducks from the neighbor dog.
In fact the ducks that just got hurt are one year old today.
