Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

DD1 decided to get married on vacation. We sent money for the wedding package at the resort, but the sad thing is that we weren't there. Just DD2 and another friend.

We had a reception later though, and showed the video of the barefoot wedding on the beach in St Lucia.
thats too bad that you couldnt be there

No mention of a return request. Its making a "clicking" noise (reminds me of a cartoon time-bomb

) so i reckon the electrics are ok, just something mechanical

. But sure, I'll take a brick to it tomorrow and see what you practical-minded folks think - thanks!

Actually, just counted on my fingers - there were 7 including the priest. Gosh, I didn't even wear a tie - what a lazy bum i am

But yeah, its good to embrace maturity (in years, at least

)
shouldnt you wait until you get the new one before you start destroying this one??

Bummer that you couldn't be there, but that sounds heavenly!

Good thing you couldn't see DD1s legs in the video, they were covered in mosquito bite welts! LOL. They just wanted a small wedding with no fuss.

It was kind of a last minute elopement. I was ticked at first, but it's what they wanted so what could I do? (Except send money so it was nice and we could at least get pictures.)

Not sure on the relative merits of the that (was joking about taking a brick to it, BTW). When i mailed Brinsea and described the problem, they just said they would send another motor unit, so I'm kinda guessing they think its either rather a terminal problem, or they they prefer not to admit that maybe some batches of their units are defective - not sure. I may wait until i get confirmation from my parents that the new unit has arrived though.

i knew you werent really going to use a brick, but i would wait until i had the replacement first

Also make sure that you only take a brick to the things that Brinsea replaced.

Morning all.

We got a bit of rain a couple days ago but sure didn't cool it down.

We finished the election with a total of 108 votes in our district. Pretty sad considering there are 3774 registered voters. :-(

We probably have 108 registered voters.....
:fl

Glad you found it

I think it is dangerous for a mechanic to wear a ring, i tell my hubby not to wear it

:hugs

I've just never had a ring..... I can't stand having jewelry on at all.....

It's getting to the point where I'm going to have to settle for "good enough" because if keep stopping to fix old problems I'll never get done.

Thanks for the coffee! :gig

From what I've seen your house is gorgeous.... Your good enough is plenty good.
Do you have to send it back?  If not, rip it open, take pics, and we'll tell you what to do  :D

Could be a simple loose wire.

Glad some are making it  :thumbsup

Literally  :gig

My first wedding was the big ta-do....  big waste.

My step-daughter got married a couple of years ago (actually 2 years yesterday!) and they did it outside, country theme also. Camo bridesmaids dresses.  She did have a gorgeous white dress, but they all wore boots, etc.  My hubby delivered her to the back of the aisle in our Polaris Ranger!

Mine was 5.   Me, him, my 2 best girlfriends as witnesses, and the priest.  We understand all that now that we are old.

Our wedding was just us my Mil and the probate judge..... Chris was only 15 at the time.....,I was 18 by this time and we were headed into the Air Force.
The judge was against it but Chris was pregnant. But the judge knew if Jeremy stood a chance in this world married parents would be best. He was right... My son grew up a great young man..... Very secsessfull..... And is always telling us what great parents we were.
