Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

I'd really love to go skating... On my new hip!
It's getting close! I'm excited for you, Phil, that you're going to get it fixed. I hope it turns out as well as mine have. Honestly, I am still in awe every day that I can walk without pain. Also - I have fallen on my newest hip 3 times in the past few months. It held! (I told you all about the ice under the snow and falling off the fence I was trying to climb over. The last time was on Friday when we were trying to get the water out of our basement. I was hurrying into the bathroom with a soaked pillow that I wanted to toss into the tub until I got it thrown out. I discovered that wet feet on a tile floor can be slippery.)

Yes....yes dear!

:old

Walk more carefully. :hugs

I had a small one that looked like it had been part of a glazed brick, dark brown, smooth & shiny, with the imprint of a ribbed seashell in it. Had that thing forever. Kept it in my top dresser drawer. Somewhere along the line it grew legs & got gone.

Now that there is disappointing... one of the huge benefits of pet rocks...they are supposed to STAY where you put them. :old

One must be consistent in where they keep their rocks. That's just common good sense.

Yeah you wouldnt want some one to run off with your rocks.... ehem.... Everyone knows they should be kept in a sack...

:pop

Dr. Hook & the Medicine Men used to sing, "Get your rocks off the mountain & roll 'em on down the hill." Of course the chorus was a repeat of "Get your rocks off" & a series of grunts. Am I showing my age here?

Good early morning pond

sun is just beginning to peek over the treetops and as I look out the kitchen window I can see the deer that were bedding in our field starting to stretch and stand and wander closer to the house to see if there is any breakfast snack left behind for them under the birdfeeder. A huge old wild tom is already strutting his stuff at anything that's moving and a few things that aren't :hmm :p
Ooops, I apologize if I might have just posted something obscene. Kitty cat decided I had ignored him long enough and laid down on my keyboard. Guess that's my cue to refill the cuppa and head outside and see if the girls have made me any breakfast. Have a great day everyone
