Love my new flock

Old flock was getting around 5 yrs old so decided time for a new flock. Pics of my new ones I got Monday after Christmas. Made a trip to Polk Ohio. Really nice drive. Here are current pics of my babies. I got Easter eggers this time. One of those turned out to be a rooster. Buffs 2 of those were rooster, Rhode island one of those were a rooster and got to have the barrs. Roosters are gorgeous. Love those roosters.

No I ordered all hens. I ordered 38 peeps ended up with 39 they throwed in a packing peanut. They garantee 90% would be the sex you want. So I did end up with one for that so they are giving me store credit for the 4th rooster. Not happy about it and may help my decision as to whether I will ever get peeps from them again but it is what it is. This was the third time I've ordered peeps. Out of those 3 times this is the first time I ended up with roosters So I guess I was due.

I love that I can let them free range. Got these ones trained already that when I step out the door in the evening they follow me up to the coop to go to bed. Hubby says he has one of the little buffs inlove with him. LOL
