They are currently 17 weeks old. Here they are younger early on, a little in between and now. They are Chives- Easter Egger, Lemon- Rhode Island Red, and Pepper- Barred Rock. This is my first flock and I am happy I chose to raise them from chicks as opposed to getting them as layers. So far I've not had any problems aside from them sleeping outside. Once I removed the perch bar in the run they went to the coop. So far so good. And they should start laying soon.

Welcome to BYC!
Your birds are so adorable! I love the breeds you have. Isn’t it wonderful to watch them grow up?
I’m glad you haven’t had any problems yet! Most of mine also tried to sleep outside.
Your hens are beautiful!
That’s really exciting that they are going to start laying soon!
I had a hen named Chive that was an Easter Egger. She also had a crest, but she was a little bit lighter in color. I will attach a picture of her. She is also the hen in my avatar.
Is Chives the hen in your avatar? She is really pretty! And she looks like she is going to start laying really soon, judging off of her big comb.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
