My husband and I purchased some bobwhite quail from a gentleman that raises them about a month ago. We have about 18 of them with a pretty good male to female radio, I'd guess 1 to 3. We got our first eggs about two weeks ago or less. I'm guessing by candling them that they're not fertile. Does it take a while before the rosters fertilize them, or should we be seeing fertile eggs soon? We're using a little Giant with a heater, fan, and rotating trays.
