Egg sellers?

This is a frequent question - and the answer is that it will depend on your local market. Are your birds free range, non-gmo, pastured or? Those particular "titles" that you can assign to the eggs produced can sometimes help to increase the value of your eggs to certain folks. The availability of fresh eggs in your area will also impact the price you might be able to demand - supply/demand is a primary influence on price.
Have you looked into the specifics for selling in your locality - as an example, different states have different regulations regarding whether you must have a license to sell away from your property vs. having people pick up eggs at your location. It is best to know ahead of time what the lines are so that you can stay within them vs. finding yourself potentially in hot water.

Just like Ol Grey Mare said - it depends on your location. From what I've seen, more rural areas have a sales price of $2-$3. I'm in New Orleans. Craigslist advertising for about $3-$4. Farmers markets range from $5-$7, again depending on the area of the city. More upscale locations are selling for as much as $8 a dozen.
