1st egg questions

So we got our 1st egg it was small about the size of a golf ball. My question is due to my chick stater being medicated should we eat the 1st few eggs. I am pulling the starter and giving them layer food now. Also do I need to give them grit now also
 
I think last time I actually waited 2 weeks... Read up on the feed label and see what if it has any recommendations

Look on the label on the bag to see what it is 'medicated' with.......
......then search that ingredient for withdrawal information.

Grit should be given as soon as they eat anything that is not mash, crumble or pellets...
....if you free range they probably have already found some 'grit' that is adequate.
